I'm not sure if I like how this one turned out. mostly because I'm not even sure how it was SUPPOSED to turn out.
So the story goes that my friend requested I draw a picture to go along with a story she read. Of course I hadn't read it, so She had to describe what it was she wanted me to illustrate. And guess what? I'll just give you the conversation here...
"Well- uh- I don't really know."
"Well what's the story called?"
"Ooh!! It's called "The tiger and the dragon!" I've never read anything like it and I love it! It's by this totally incredible guy named "George DeValier" and he writes INCREDIBLE stories! I bet even you would like them you grammar Nazi!"
"Kay, so tell me what scene you want me to illustrate and I'll read it."
"ahahaha... he deleted the part I want you to do."
Okay. I got that out of my system.
George DeValier- if I ever have the honour of you reading this, You rock. Your stories are incredible. I wish I could be only half as talented as you.
Ahem. So this is Ivan (Russia) With a tattoo that covers his back. I had to ask around what it looked like because I couldn't read what it looked like and they told me it was a "Russian Orthodox Cross"- and that was all I heard. SOOOO- I kind of "Decorated it" if you will, with barbed wire and sort of metal bars. It seemed suiting for russia, since it seemed (Spoiler I guess here) that he was in a Mafia? So hence the gun and the blood. Um...
the Russian on the back means "I am nothing" Because She told me that his tattoo consisted of "meaningless things" soooooo.... yeah.
I hope it's not terrible, and Jen,you had better like it or I might punch a wall. Because I don't usually color things in.
Damn, this is cool. I love that the cross is Russian Orthodox. And the barbed wire and metal bars are... very appropriate. This whole picture fits the story really well, actually. Thanks heaps for drawing it, I love it. ^_^
Omigosh. Hi! Thank you so much!! Wow! I love your writing and now I'm rambling... Um.... I'm really happy you like it! I'm glad I did okay then!! (I think)
